Obuse is not a town that was made for tourism. Industries such as chestnut confectionary production, in which production is carried out in the traditional manner, and a unique culture, which has been cultivated and handed down over the ages, have blended into the natural environment and are kept alive as is in the present town.
Of course, the town also has art museums and other museums, so you can experience the history and culture of Obuse.

An internationally renowned winery is headquartered in Obuse. You can enjoy the types of chestnut cuisine and sweets that were offered to the Shoguns during the Edo Period.
